Active Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) operations within the BSCSP region include projects in the Green River and Powder River Basins. To support these operations, the Exxon-Anadarko CO2 pipeline system delivers CO2 from a gas processing plant to the Salt Creek, Lost Soldier and Wertz oil fields for EOR. Wyoming is continuing to develop its CO2 pipeline infrastructure to make CO2 transportation more efficient and to access other depleted oil reservoirs in the Big Horn, Williston, Wind River and Laramie Basins. Other pipelines for natural gas, crude oil, and refined products extend across the region.
