Interactive Mapping Services

The Carbon Atlas Regional Interactive Mapping Services allow you to access technical data via your web browser. The data presented has been created, collected, and analyzed in support of carbon sequestration research.

The browser-based mapping applications allow you to:

  1. Navigate and explore aspects of our regional characterization data through a user-friendly interface
  2. Click any where on the map with the identity tool to view detailed information about that specific feature
  3. Measure length, area, or get geographic coordinates of a point on the map
  4. Create your own map using the navigation and table of content tools, and print the map in .pdf, .jpeg, .bmp or .gif format

The Carbon Atlas interactive map was developed by using ESRI ArcGIS Server, version 9.3. This software package enables organizations to use web-oriented spatial data services to produce internet-based mapping interfaces. BSCSP will continue to increase the functionality of the interactive map by developing geo-processing capabilities and updating the user interface functionality.
