For Educators

Thank you for taking an interest in our country’s energy future! The Big Sky Carbon Sequestration Partnership has been involved in numerous educational workshops to teach people of all ages about climate change and carbon sequestration. If you would like to request a Big Sky Carbon Sequestration Partnership staff member to participate in an educational program, please contact us to see if we can accommodate your needs.

BSCSP has compiled a list of teacher resources, publications, presentations, classroom activities and videos for students of all ages and learning styles. This list is ever-growing so please check back often to see our new additions.

The US Department of Energy recently funded several regional training centers to train the workforce of tomorrow’s commercial carbon sequestration projects. If you are interested in learning more about the training centers, please visit the program page.

    • Carbon Sequestration Leadership Forum

The CSLF is a Ministerial-level international climate change initiative that is focused on the development of improved cost-effective technologies for the separation and capture of carbon dioxide (CO2) for its transport and long-term safe storage. The mission of the CSLF is to facilitate the development and deployment of such technologies via collaborative efforts that address key technical, economic, and environmental obstacles. Learn more about the CSLF and its educational resources here.

    • K-12 Opportunities
